Good Morning VFW CT Commander Pickett,

You might have heard that in August 2024, St. Michael Post 1562 conceived the idea of doing a fund raiser for Tunnel to Towers but earmarking all the donations to be used specifically in the state of Connecticut.   The T2T Foundation supported the idea by giving us a specific website for the campaign we called “Target CT for T2T”.   Our efforts in some of the surrounding towns in the Naugatuck Valley to publicize the campaign with a goal of 10K goal was successful.  Total donations were just over $16,000..   

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation has once again activated the “Target CT for T2T” campaign for 2025.

During this second year, we want to do better promotions by reaching out to other organizations throughout the state of Connecticut.

Many organizations such as the VFW raise money for Tunnel to Towers, but those monies are put to the general fund for Tunnel to Towers to use at its discretion. The “Target CT for T2T” campaign designates all monies specifically for Connecticut.

IMPORTANT that donations be done specifically through  the 2025 Target CT for T2T site, not T2T’s main web site – as explained in the letter.
