Two events are taking place this week to remember the 42nd anniversary of the barracks bombing in Beirut on October 23, 1983:
1) Thursday, October 23, 6:00 p.m., at the National Iwo Jima Memorial, 1 Iwo Jima Way, New Britain.
and
2) Saturday, October 25, 10:00 a.m., at the Danbury War Memorial, 1 Memorial Drive, Danbury.
We can never forget.
