Uniform: VFW Casual (VFW polo & khaki slacks).

The VFW Connecticut Council of Administration (CoA) meeting will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at VFW Post 9460 in Stratford. Uniform is officer polo and khakis. Coffee will be provided.

VIP GUEST: Peter J. Mascetti, from the Department of Europe and candidate for VFW Junior Vice Commander-In-Chief 2029-2030, asked to attend our meeting and address the VFWCT CoA members.

The Department is preparing for a National inspection in early April, so expect to consider revisions to the SOP and similar documents.

NOTE: The February CoA meeting has been moved up a week to Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026 (10 a.m. at VFW 1672 New Milford; thank you VFWCT1 for canceling your meeting):

FOOD: There will be bacon egg and cheese, sausage egg and cheese and egg and cheese sandwich made to order for the meeting. Service starts at at 9:30 and coffee will be available all at no cost.

Administration of Affairs Between Conventions.

The Department Council of Administration shall be responsible for administering the affairs and transacting the business of the Department between Department Conventions. The Council shall be governed in its duties by the mandates of the National Convention, the Congressional Charter, Bylaws, Manual of Procedure, Ritual and laws and usages of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States as well as by the mandates of the Department Convention, Charter and Bylaws.
