An Army Ranger and avid rugby player\, he has completed six combat deployments in support of the Global War on Terror. \nAt 3:00 p.m.\, there will be a second ceremony at the World War Memorial Flagpole on the New Haven Green. The principal speaker will be Lt. Col. Dawn Works-Dennis (Ret.). Formerly with the Connecticut Army National Guard\, she now serves as the Deputy Public Works Officer for the Naval Submarine Base New London.
